Government opens admissions for the 2027 academic year

Admission to government schools for the next academic year opened on Thursday.

The application form for places in government schools is available on the Ministry of Education website.

The form will be used to admit new children to all government schools in the country.

The deadline for submitting applications for admission to government schools is the end of August.

The Ministry notes that the email address and phone number used to complete the form will be registered with the Ministry as the parent’s contact information at the time of application, and this information will be shared with the schools.

The first term of the academic year ended on the 16th of this month, and students went on vacation on the 17th. The second term is scheduled to start on August 2.

This year, students will end the school year and receive a long holiday in December.

As such, this year’s school year will end on December 18. The next academic year will begin on January 17, 2027.
