Police seek to locate man for case under investigation by Family and Child Protection Unit

The Maldives Police Service has released video footage seeking public assistance to identify and locate an individual wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation by the authority’s Family and Child Protection Unit.

The footage released by police shows a man dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt and light blue jeans. The individual is seen walking along a street and standing in front of a residence in Malé.

The Maldives Police Service is trying to locate the individual seen in the video below with regard to a case currently being investigated by the Family and Child Protection.

After publishing the footage on social media, the Police confirmed that the individual is being sought as part of an active investigation.

The Police have urged anyone with information regarding the individual’s identity or whereabouts to contact the police hotline at 3322111 or the Family and Gender Affairs Department at 9790163 as soon as possible.
