Man dies after health deteriorates while at uninhabited island on GA. Atoll

A man has died after his condition deteriorated while visiting an uninhabited island near GA. Kolamaafushi.

According to the Police, GA. Atoll Hospital reported that a man who was brought to the hospital at approximately 14:30pm this afternoon, after his condition deteriorated while on Kalhehuttaa, had died.

The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Ahmed Ishaaq of Udhares, GA. Kolamaafushi.

The case is under further investigation by the Police. 

While uninhabited islands in the Maldives are visited by people for various purposes, several dangerous incidents have been reported in the past.
