Surveying Salvage and Heavy Equipment (SSHE) Maldives has successfully rescued MT Hawks Glory, after engine failure cast the large fuel tanker adrift off Male’.

SSHE Maldives rescued the 10,000-ton vessel and towed it to the Male’ port on Monday.

MT Hawks Glory, a tanker operated by The Hawks, ran into trouble on Sunday. Its engines failed and it began drifting away from the Male’ area.

The vessel made a distress call, and SSHE Maldives immediately deployed its marine response team.

The team began its rescue mission at around 10:00 pm.

The mission was run by an 11-member team under the command of Captain Subhan Satriana.

They completed the mission the next day, safely towing the large vessel to Male’ port.
